From Sales Agent to CHRO
I owe much of my corporate background to New York Life and HSBC. I was trained in sales, had a gratifying professional career in the commercial area and lead a team of more than 1,000 people, being responsible for the P&L area as Commercial Director at HSBC.
As a people-oriented leader, I manage to prepare high-performance teams to improve financial performance of the the organization. I have been Member of Diversity and Inclusion Committees, Boards, and Executive Committees, positively influencing to create value through cultural transformations while working from different countries and organizations. I also work as an Executive Coach, helping CEOs and C-suite executives develop a greater understanding of themselves and their impact on others.
Since the beginning of my career I have been concerned about interpersonal skills, hence my interest in studying and working on improving them, which has allowed me to be insightful in supporting the development of others.
I have been defined throughout my career as empathetic, perceptive and approachable, with a strategic and creative vision, as well as being good at “reading” people and situations. I am normally verbal and persuasive, noted for inspiring, challenging and encouraging those around me.
